| Bio: | This is me, Francine. A syren, a muse, an Artist both on and off the Web. I do crafts of many sorts. This leads to rooms of stuff and tables piled with my latest project in the works. I crochet like a madwoman. I sew pretty.
I am an ex-New Yorker engaged to an ex-Chicagoan now living in the Northwest.
Why am I an artist? Everyone is an artist. You simply need to find your art.
My art is the home.
Much of what you will see on this journal will involve: writing, cooking, cleaning, making life, knitting, crocheting, spinning, dying wool, crafting, my cats and my thoughts on all of the above--and the occasional rainbow.
I am a Benedictine Oblate. This is a third order monastic. I made my final Oblation to St Martin's Abbey in Lacy, Washington in September 2006.
I am an Italian, brought up by the Roman Catholic church. I left, got Jewish, got Pagan, then came home. Now I pray for Peace and Grace. The older that I get, the more I see the need to run and feel the wind, laugh and let my lungs fill with joy. Every day it's a new me...
